Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Where to Get Dusk Stone

Dusk Stone is one of the 10 evolution stones in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. These items are needed for certain Pokemon evolutions, but finding them may not be as easy as it seems.

This guide will show you where to get Dusk Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, including how to get it as a random drop, guaranteed drop, and reward.

How to Get Dusk Stone

As a Random Drop

Just like several other evolution stones in Scarlet and Violet, Dusk Stone can be found randomly as loot or dropped by NPCs in Area Three of the West Province.

As Guaranteed Drops

Cascarrafa Drop

While checking the West Province is fine if you’re already there and completing other tasks, nothing random is as efficient as something guaranteed. Instead, focus on the southeast portion of Cascarrafa for guaranteed drops.

Approach the spot located next to a small hill, as indicated by the marker on the map above, and there you may find a Red Pokeball, which contains Dusk Stone.

Montenevera Drop

One more guaranteed spot for Dusk Stone is the Montenevera Gym located in the Montenevera town of the northern region.

Players need to go behind the gym building and pick up a Red Pokeball. The Dusk Stone is contained within the Pokeball.

As a Reward

Porto Miranda Auctions

Another way of obtaining Dusk Stone is to win the bid at the Porto Miranda Auction. To do so, you’ll need to place the highest possible bid on the Dusk Stone lot, eventually winning it as a reward.

Auctions at Porto Miranda become available after you complete Cascarrafa’s Gym challenges. Since the lots at the auction change constantly, you can reroll them by restarting your game and changing the date on your console.

Pokedex Reward

Dusk Stone can also be obtained after collecting 130 Pokemon in your Pokedex collection. Once you have the required number of Pokemon, go to the “Pokedex” menu of the game, and press the “X” button to claim your Dusk Stone as a reward.

Dusk Stone Pokemon Evolutions

There are two types of Pokemon that use Dusk Stone for evolutions, including:

• Murkrow into Honchkrow.
• Misdreavus into Mismagius.
