Dear Sony lovers and avid gamers: you’ll get your chance to play Minecraft on your favorite systems.
During the Gamescom convention on August 20th in Cologne Germany, Sony announced that Minecraft will become available on their systems. Shortly after, Notch tweeted, “PS4, PS3 and Vita”. We can take this as the annoucement that Minecraft will be available on those systems, broadening their player audience.
Minecraft on the PC vs Xbox 360
There’s been quite a debate on what people think about Minecraft on the different systems. Personally, I play Minecraft on the PC and find it to be a little more enjoyable on that than the Xbox 360. Most of that is because the PC version tends to update faster than the Xbox edition, and I find using the controller a bit awkward to get used to. Then again, I happen to play on a track-pad and people find that weird as well.
Are you excited about being able to play Minecraft on your other systems, or should it be left alone on the Xbox 360 and PC? Will Mojang update as quickly on their systems, like they do on the PC?
