Minecraft Animation Video – “Take Back the Night”

Some really amazing Minecraft animation videos and song parodies.
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

I’m a really big Minecraft fan, and it blows my mind when I see these animation videos and song parodies. It’s astounding how creative some people can be, not just in lyrics but also by taking Minecraft and making it look good.

If you’ve ever played the game, you’d know that the characters look and move a bit like Legos. They don’t particularly have fluid motions like humans do, and the graphics within the game aren’t that spectacular. Amazing YouTube artists take this game into an editor and make it so movie-like you can barely tell it’s Minecraft!

“Take Back the Night”, a Minecraft Animation

Today on YouTube CaptainSparklez uploaded a new animation, to the song “Take Back the Night”. Featured in the header is the song, but if you’ve ever seen his earlier videos, you might recognize the beginning scene from “Fallen Kingdom”, a parody song that flows very well with inventive lyrics.

“Fallen Kingdom” was based off of the song, “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay, while “Take Back the Night” is an original song written and performed by TryHardNinja, with the animation done by many people. CaptainSparklez makes sure to give credit to them at the end of his videos as well as in the descriptions.

For those aspiring Minecraft animation artists, CaptainSparklez does put up some “Behind the Scenes” videos for those to see how much work goes into creating these mere minute videos.

Leave me a comment with your favorite Minecraft animation or parody.
