With Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak having been available on PC and Switch for more than a year now, many had honestly forgotten that the incredible main game launched by itself earlier this year. A high-definition remaster of the Switch version, players across PlayStation and Xbox consoles have been without the content-packed expansion for months now. Thankfully, that is about to end.
Step up to Master Rank and hunt your way through a mysterious new story in Monster Hunter Rise: #Sunbreak, coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PS5, and PS4 on April 28th!

Capcom announced during today’s Capcom Spotlight that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S starting April 28, 2023.
Along with getting all of the new monsters and missions, players on these platforms will also receive all of the current content updates at once. That means extra monsters and event quests added after Rise’s release will be ready and waiting for those with a high enough hunter rank.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will also continue to receive updates into 2023 that will hit all platforms at the same time. There still isn’t any mention of cross-platform multiplayer being added, but that might be too difficult to achieve across five different consoles and PC.
