Resident Evil 4 Remake: How to Skip the Dynamite Room

Skipping the Dynamite Room in Resident Evil 4 remake is one of the more interesting secrets uncovered by players making their way through multiple runs. A large wall of rocks will be blocking your path at the beginning of Chapter 11, and a nearby file will direct you into an adjacent room in the mines. There, you’ll find a bundle of Dynamite and a whole lot of enemies. That little bundle of explosives isn’t the only way to get past the wall, though. This is how to skip the Dynamite Room in RE4 remake.

The secret to skipping the Dynamite Room is to substitute one explosive for another — namely a rocket launcher.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the Infinite Rocket Launcher or the single-use type purchased from the merchant. All you need is one shot to destroy the rock wall in front of you.

Similar to using the dynamite, it’s important to place some distance between yourself and the rocks. A rocket launcher missile will also cause the wall of rocks to tumble in your direction. If you don’t run backward or into the side tunnel, they’ll likely kill you.

It’s worth noting that grenades don’t work for this trick. For some, the cost for a single-use rocket launcher might not be with the time saved here. But for others that don’t want to fight a horde of Ganados (including some with chainsaws) will find this skip trick useful for multiple playthroughs.

Bring along a rocket launcher on your next trip through the mines, and you’ll be able to skip the Dynamite Room in the Resident Evil 4 remake.
