Genshin Impact 3.6: SS-Tier Character

Raiden Shogun

  • Element: Electro
  • Weapon: Polearm

If you’re looking for a DPS main with support capabilities, then Raiden would be the best possible choice in Genshin Impact 3.6 due to her own high damage output and ability to boost her team’s damage as well.

It’s important to note that she also has a high recharge rate, and she can increase the regenerate rate of Energy of her entire team, too. If you give her Engulfing Lightning weapon, then her recharge rate will increase by another 12%.

Note that this character’s main strength is hidden in her Elemental Burst talent.

Genshin Impact 3.6: S-Tier Characters

Nahida

  • Element: Dendro
  • Weapon: Catalyst

Nahida can do so many things at once! Take for instance her Elemental Burst talent, which is both low cost and has massive AoE attack. If an ally is affected by her Elemental Burst, they get a huge Elemental Mastery boost.

The cooldown times on her Elemental skills are super low, and the durations of their effects are really long. You can improve her Elemental Mastery even further with the help of a Thousand Floating Dreams catalyst, which adds another 265 points to it.

This is simply a superb character that can do so much on-field and off-field if you know how to use her.

Alhaitham

  • Element: Dendro
  • Weapon: Sword

If you want to focus on dealing maximum single-target damage, then Alhathaim can do no wrong. It helps he’s also very flexible and can do a lot of on-field Dendro effects very quickly.

His biggest upside is that his Infusion cannot be overridden. It’s also not tied to his Elemental Burst, which can deal a ton of damage. This is especially true when equipped with Light of Foliar Incision sword, which boosts his critical damage by almost 20%.

Alhaitham is a super effective character, but he is hard to master and so we don’t recommend him for totally new players.

Genshin Impact 3.6: A-Tier Characters

Kaedehara Kazuha

  • Element: Anemo
  • Weapon: Sword

Fans really like Kazuha for his Swirl ability, which can be effectively applied in most scenarios. He deals high damage with Elemental Mastery, and buffs his team’s Elemental Burst damage with it as well.

It is recommended to boost his Elemental Mastery as much as possible. The most fitting weapon for him would be Freedom Sworn, which does exactly that.

As an added bonus very convenient to use his Double Jump when exploring the world, as it’s both fun and effective.

Hu Tao

  • Element: Pyro
  • Weapon: Polearm

As a Pyro character, Hu Tao has a well balanced set of both offensive and defensive stats.

All of her attacks have very high damage output. If you equip her with Staff of Homa, then her critical damage will be increased by another 15%. On top of that, she can also increase the critical hit rate of her allies.

Unfortunately, Hu Tao doesn’t have any ranged or AoE attacks, and she needs to spend much of her HP to use her Elemental skill well.

Kamisato Ayaka

  • Element: Cryo
  • Weapon: Sword

Ayaka is a master of critical damage, which makes her one of the better DPS characters in the game.

All of her talents utilize the Cryo element highly effectively, which also gives her a strong boost to all Elemental Burst damage. It’s recommended to equip Ayaka with Mistsplitter Reforged, a sword that grants bonus 10% to all of her critical damage.

On top of that, Ayaka has a special sprint ability that allows you to quickly get around and gain advantage in combat. But you really need to control her stamina, or you may be caught by surprise.

Genshin Impact 3.6: B-Tier Characters

Yelan

  • Element: Hydro
  • Weapon: Bow

Yelan can be both a great DPS and support character due to a specific set of talents. Her Elemental Burst significantly boosts the damage of any active ally.

If you want to use her as your main DPS, then equip her with Aqua Simulacra bow, which has a high chance of dealing critical damage. It’ll also increase her Barbed Charge attack.

Her only drawback is that the cost of Elemental Burst is really high, which makes her an expensive supporter, and her Hydro application could be better overall.

Tartaglia

  • Element: Hydro
  • Weapon: Bow

Tartaglia, also known as Childe, can deal ranged and melee damage equally well. All of his melee attacks always apply Hydro damage, and you can switch between melee and ranged using his Elemental skill.

What makes Tartaglia really special is an ability to boost his own damage while fighting multiple enemies at once. If you want to deal with enemies at a safe distance, then equip him with the Polar Star bow to get some extra critical damage.

Tartaglia could easily be an S-tier character if not for his long cooldown times, but they could get better if managed properly.
