Incarnate Forme Landorus is hitting Pokemon GO Raids this month. If you’re looking to add this ferocious legendary Pokemon to your roster, you’ll want to know its attacks and weaknesses, as well as the best counters when fighting it.
Incarnate Forme Landorus will appear at 5 Star Raids starting April 10 at 10 a.m. and be available until April 17 at 10 a.m. Here’s how to beat Landorus, and which Pokemon to bring along in Pokemon GO.
Tips for Beating Landorus in Pokemon GO
Landorus Attacks
Landorus can use either Mud Shot (Ground) or Rock Throw (Rock) for its Fast Attack. Charged attacks include Rock Slide (Rock), Focus Blast (Fighting), Outrage (Dragon), and Earth Power (Ground).
Only Mud Shot and Earth Power get the same type bonus, so other trainers may be focused on those when playing in the Battle League.
Landorus Weaknesses
Considering Landrous is a dual Ground/Flying type Pokemon in both its forms, it’s weak to both Water and Ice attacks, with Ice moves being particularly effective.
Landorus is strong against Steel Pokemon, making the likes of Aggron, Metagross, and Dialga poor choices in this Raid battle. Rock, and Fire Pokemon are also at a disadvantage against Landorus, as are Flying Pokemon.
Best Incarnate Forme Landorus Counters
The best counters for Incarnate Forme Landorus are Ice-type Pokemon using Ice-type moves for the same type bonus. Here are a few Pokemon and their moves you can use:
- Mega Swampert: Water Gun, Hydrocannon
- Mamoswine: Powder Snow, Avalanche
- Glaceon: Ice Shard, Avalanche
- Mega Glalie: Frost Breath, Avalanche
- Kyogre: Waterfall, Origin Pulse
- Feraligatr: Water Gun, Hydro Cannon
Mega Swampert and Mamoswine will be the best to include as their secondary types are Ground. This will give them more resistance to any Ground-type attacks Landorus may use against you.
