Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — How to Change Lightsaber Colors

Here's how to change Lightsaber colors in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.

For me, one of the best parts of the Star Wars Jedi series and the Force Unleashed is the ability to change Lightsaber colors. I’ve always loved the yellow blades of the Jedi Sentinels, and being able to dual-wield white sabers while cutting through B1 Battle Droids never gets old. Luckily, changing Lightsaber crystals to get new colors is easy in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Here’s how to customize your Kyber.

How to Change Lightsaber Colors in Jedi Survivor

You’ll be able to change Lightsaber colors fairly early in the game. Once you complete the initial portion on Coruscant, you’ll initially escape to parts unknown. While in Hyperspace, you’ll work with BD to find a place to go, finally settling on Koboh. Right after, you’ll need to clean up The Mantis and gain access to your first Workbench.

From the starmap, move toward the back of the ship and up the steps. Look left to find a BD-1 cosmetic set on the bar. When you pick it up, you’ll be tasked with going to the Workbench in your quarters in the back of the ship.

Interact with the Workbench, and you’ll have three options:

  • BD-1 Customization
  • Lightsaber Stances
  • Lightsaber Customization

Choose Lightsaber customization, then tab over to “Blade.” You’ll be able to change your Lightsaber colors immediately. This is also where you can customize other parts like Emitters, Switches, and Pommels, as well as materials to change the color and condition of those parts.

You can customize and change your Lightsaber colors at any Workbench you find in the world, including Pyloon’s Saloon and those scattered around Koboh and other planets.

Initially, you have access to nine Lightsaber colors:

  • Blue
  • Green
  • Purple
  • Yellow
  • Cyan
  • Magenta
  • Indigo
  • Orange
  • White

Neatly, if you’re wearing a good set of headphones, each crystal color produces a distinct hum when the blade is turned on.

How to Unlock More Lightsaber Colors

Can you unlock more Lightsaber colors? Yes, you can! You’ll unlock two more Lightsaber colors by playing Jedi Survivor on New Game+. All you have to do is load up the game, and these will be added to your Workbench once you reach it post-Coruscant.

  • Red
  • Rainbow

And that’s how to change Lightsaber colors, swap them out at Workbenches, and unlock more Kyber crystals. Maybe in DLC we can get the Darksaber, though it would be in the possession of Maul at this point in the timeline, so probably not.
