How to Complete Inherited Sin in WoW: Dragonflight

This guide will teach you how to complete Inherited Sin in WoW: Dragonflight, and this chapter has a special reward.

Before you look into how to complete “Inherited Sin” in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, you’ll need to complete the first three chapters of the campaign that precede it. You’ll also need a bit of patience before you can complete this chapter and earn your Winding Slitherdrake since it is over halfway into the new campaign, and not yet released if you’re reading this before May 9.

How to Complete Inherited Sin in WoW: Dragonflight

“Inherited Sin” is the fourth chapter of the “Embers of Neltharion” campaign, which totals seven chapters. However, this means that you have to complete the first three chapters before you begin.

If you’ve finished “A Creche Divided,” “Breaking Ground,” “Sundered Legacy,” and “Ancient Bargain,” you can accepted the beginning of “Inherited Sin,” a quest called “Here We Go Again,” from Ebyssian at the Seat of Aspects in Valdrakken.

This chapter is comprised of:

  • Here We Go Again
  • The Obsidian Rest
  • Report: Battlefield Ruins
  • Blow It Up
  • Thinning Their Defenses
  • Intercepting Communications
  • Air Superiority
  • Investigating the Unknown
  • Break Them Out
  • Worst of the Worst

Once you complete “Worst of the Worst,” your achievement progress will update to show that you’ve finished “Inherited Sin.”

Before you spend too much time like I did trying to hunt down Ebyssian, then wondering why he has no available quests, “Inherited Sin” won’t be available until May 9. I can’t speak for the reasoning behind the decision, but the chapters for the campaign have been split into more than one release date.

However, your patience will be rewarded with the Winding Slitherdrake after completing “Worst of the Wost.” Until then, you can stock up on currencies with help from our WoW: Dragonflight guides for how to get Barter Bricks and how to get Flightstones.
