There has been very little news about the game since its promising E3 debut, but Ubisoft stepped in and confirmed the game, which, coincidentally, coincides with the premiere of the 17th season of the TV show.
THQ started developing the game back in mid 2011. Then, THQ fell apart and everything went haywire for a while. Ubisoft bought the game before it went under, and now everything’s fine.
With the release date, Ubisoft debuted a “Grand Wizard Edition” for $79.99. It includes the game itself, an exclusive 6-inch “Grand Wizard Kidrobot Cartman Figure,” the “Kingdom of South Park map,” and the “Ultimate Fellowship Pack,” which contains four special costumes with their own designated abilities.
So, for all of you South Park fans out there, you only have about 2 more months left of waiting for the highly anticipated game.
