Grand Theft Auto V has been previously announced for a Xbox 360 and PS3 spring release, and it looks like we might be able to add PC to the list of available platforms if we can believe Amazon UK and France. While this is great news, it’s easy to wonder whether or not the listings are legitimate.
Rockstar Games has mentioned that they are considering porting GTA V to the Wii U and PC but have yet to make an announcement. Even more strange are the information found on the listings on the site. The Amazon France listing allows for preordering, while that is missing from the Amazon UK page. What’s more is that both state that the game is available for Windows XP, Vista, and 7 but fails to mention Windows 8.

Is this the real deal or a mistake on Amazon’s part? It wouldn’t be the first time Amazon has gotten a game release wrong — but at the same time, a lot of things have been revealed by the site in the past as well. We won’t know until we have an official statement from Rockstar on GTA V‘s release.
