Goron City is located at coordinates (1652, 2444, 0381) in Tears of the Kingdom. It’s between Death Mountain and the Great Hyrule Forest. There are a few ways to get to Goron City, but there are a few that are more efficient than others.

Most Direct Route to Goron City in TotK

After some testing, I found that the most direct route from the initial Central Hyrule region to Goron City in TotK is via the road from Woodland Stable (1056, 1126, 0022). The map screenshot above has the pathway marked, and I’d recommend grabbing a horse from the stable to speed things up.

Best Route to Goron City

Another convenient — and perhaps speedier — way to get to Goron City is by first finding the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower (1637, 1183, 0225) and gliding north.

The Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower is between Pico Pond and Lake Ferona, east of the Woodland Stable. The short detour can be worth it since gliding helps you shorten the route and miss enemies along the way. You can even spot the Goron Monolith Statues after launching from it, as shown in the screenshot above.

If you haven’t upgraded your stamina, however, you won’t make it all the way gliding. I recommend spending some Lights of Blessing to upgrade your stamina before making the trek via this method. Otherwise, if you’ve invested in more hearts than stamina, riding a horse from the stable is the better option.
