The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Wingsuit will let you glide around the skies of Hyrule almost effortlessly. It works slightly differently than the Paraglider and is a tool you’ll want to seek out to open up more traversal and exploration methods. This outfit consists of three different pieces of clothing that you’ll earn by completing three trials in the Sky Islands. Here’s how to get the Wingsuit in Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to Find the Wingsuit Pieces in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
To get the full TotK Wingsuit, you’ll need to find the Glide Shirt, Glide Tights, and Glide Mask. Each of these can be obtained by completing a different skydive trial.
While gliding in the sky, you’ll see these challenges from afar as floating columns of rocks. To start them, glide down to the endpoint on a small island beneath the rock formation. There will always be a Construct here to start the trial, and you’ll always have to complete an untimed trial first to unlock the full trial. Then, complete each full trial in under 35 seconds to get the respective piece of clothing.
How to Get the Glide Shirt Wingsuit Piece
To get the Glide Shirt Wingsuit piece, complete the Skydive Trial on Courage Island. To get to this one, I recommend using the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower to get up in the air. Glide to the coordinates (-2364, 0800, 0611), and you’ll find a small island where you can complete this challenge. Grab the Tauhiy Shrine here, and then go talk to the Construct next to the lake. Offer one Zoanite Charge as a fee for participation to start the challenge.
How to Complete the Courage Island Skydive Trial
The Courage Island Skydive Trial can be tricky to do in time if you don’t know where to glide. However, after getting through the second hoop, go through a tight gap in the platform below you, where you’ll need to squeeze through for the next hoop.
Once you’ve lined this up, this is the best place to accelerate to get the speed boost needed to complete the challenge in time. Make sure to speed up at the very end if you find yourself running low on time! Remember: you must complete this trial in 35 seconds or fewer. Once you’ve completed the trial, the Construct will give you the TotK Wingsuit Glide Shirt.
How to Get the Glide Tights Wingsuit Piece
To get the Glide Tights Wingsuit piece, complete the Skydive Trial on Bravery Island. After some experimentation, I found that the quickest way to get here is to start at the Mayam Shrine in the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago. If you haven’t unlocked this Shrine yet, I suggest using the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower.
From the shrine, you can see the floating formation that marks the trial. Find a good spot to jump off and glide over to the small island under the rock circles located at coordinates (0230,2070,1984). Talk to the Construct to begin your tutorial run and then again for the real thing.
How to Complete the Bravery Island Skydive Trial
Another trial to finish in under 35 seconds. This Skydive Trial doesn’t have many obstacles, so focus on where the circles appear and anticipate them as you glide down. I found that accelerating through each circle after lining it up was the safest way to gain speed in these trials. Once you land in the pond, you’ll be rewarded with the Tears of the Kingdom Wingsuit Glide Tights.
How to Get the Glide Mask TotK Wingsuit Piece
To get the Wingsuit Glide Mask, complete the Skydive Trial on Valor Island. The nearest Shrine to this skydive spire is the Mayanas Shrine. If you haven’t unlocked this yet, use the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower to make your way over to the island formation at coordinates (4613,-0947, 1790). From here, glide down to the island below the skydive trial.
How to Complete the Valor Island Skydive Trial
The key to completing the Valor Island Skydive Trial is the same as always. However, be especially mindful of your surroundings. I found there to be a couple of moments where a ring was between two floating islands on each side. This narrow passage was a perfect moment to accelerate as long I stayed steady. I used these moments to build the speed I needed to complete the challenge in time and earn the Wingsuit Glide Mask.
With that, you’ll have the final part of the TotK Wingsuit and be able to adorn the complete set. For more Tears of the Kingdom gear guides, puzzle solutions, and Shrine walkthroughs, visit our Zelda guides hub.
