If you’ve been grinding in Diablo 4 for unique item drops for Druids with no luck, there’s a reason. What many have speculated has been confirmed by Rod Fergusson on Twitter, that the Druid Loot Table is broken and they are aware of it.
The current best build for Druids is the Storm Wolf build. Unique Item dependent, this endgame beast can rip through just about any enemy. As long as it has those key items that make it work. Many Druid players, myself included, have noticed that finding Druid only items takes some work. Much more work than other classes.
It seems that we now have the answer. The Druid loot table that governs what drops in game and at what rate is currently broken. Rod Fergusson, General Manager of the Diablo series, replied to a tweet about the loot table issues confirming that the Blizzard team is aware of the problem and working on a solution. No estimated date was included in the tweet for a patch or fix. This could be addressed in Diablo 4’s upcoming Dev campfire stream on June 16. I’ll be covering this stream, so check back with us tomorrow for any updates.
In the meantime, extra grinding for Druids are still in the cards. If you’re one of the lucky ones to get a unique Druid item, hold on to it, even if you’re not currently playing a Druid.
