For the first time since 2006, Square Enix will be holding a press conference on June 16th 9am PDT (12am ET, 5pm GMT, 1am in Japan) for E3 2015. They will be joining Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Nintendo, Bathesda, Sony and Microsoft – making that 7 conferences for this year’s E3 edition.
On the post announcing the news, Square Enix promises “a dose of some exciting news” without giving out any specifics, saying that fans will have to “wait and see”.
Does this mean there will be some talk about Final Fantasy XV (possibly a release date?), Kingdom Hearts 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and more information about Star Ocean V: Integrity and Faithlessness?
The conference will be visible through Twitch Livestream and on Youtube as well as through Twitter, which they will be updating in real time.
It’s raining games
Square Enix has a large portfolio of games to be released. Here are a couple games that are getting fans squirming impatiently in their seats:
Rise of the Tomb Raider
This game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix, along with some help from Microsoft. Because of that help, Microsoft may be talking about this game through their press conference. This game will be an Xbox One exclusive upon its release on Holiday 2015.
Final Fintasy XV
Continuing the Final Fantasy series, this JRPG takes on Noctis as a main character in a dark and modern setting. The game is to be launched end of 2015.
