Uninstall Origin Anti Cheat Software

If you play FIFA 23 via the Origin game store, then you need to uninstall the anti cheat software by following these steps:

  1. Go to “Program FilesOrigin GamesFIFA 23_installerEAAntiCheat” folder on your PC.
  2. Launch EAAntiCheat Installer app.
  3. Select “FIFA 23” from the list of games.
  4. Press the “Uninstall” button.

Once this is done, you need to restart the game by right-clicking on the FIFA 23 icon and choosing “Run as Administrator“. This should fix the Anti Cheat error you had previously.

Uninstall Third Party Anti Cheat Software

If you have other games that use EAC software of their own on your PC, then they could be incompatible with the EA software and create errors. Currently, there are two possible types of EAC software that you may need to uninstall:

  • FaceIt Anti-Cheat.
  • Riot Vanguard.

You can uninstall either one or both of them by following these steps:

  1. Press “Start” button.
  2. Go to “Settings” menu.

  6. Click on the three dots button.
  7. Press the “Uninstall” button.

Once the process is over, restart your PC and start FIFA 23 once again to see if the error has disappeared.

Turn Off Anti Cheat Software

If you don’t want to uninstall the EAC software, then you can disable it using the following method:

  1. Press Win+R key combination.
  2. Type in “services.msc” and press Enter.
  3. Right-click on Easy Anti-Cheat.
  4. Select “Properties” from the list.
  5. Set the launch order to “Disable” or “Manual“.
  6. Save and exit.
