Pokemon fans rejoice! Nintendo has officially announced a new Pokemon Direct that will take place on February 26th, 2016 at 7 a.m. PT, 10 p.m. ET! This announcement marks the first Nintendo Direct of 2016, taking place almost 2 months after the final Smash Bros. Direct presentation in December.

While it is currently unknown what will be presented during this Pokemon Direct, fans are already speculating what might be in store. We already know that there will likely be news on Pokemon GO, as well as Pokken Tournament. However, a recent leak by SuperMetalDave64 has many clamoring for more information on the supposed release of Pokemon Rainbow. This game – according to fan theories – will be the multi-region game they have dreamed of. While the leak has yet to be verified, it is certainly a nice dream to have.
