Earlier this week, Tom Warren of The Verge reported that Xbox One X preorders would go live today after Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference. Although Microsoft has not confirmed the date that preorders will go live, the Xbox Twitter account did reveal that preorder information would be included in the press conference.
The press conference will take place today and goes live on Microsoft’s Mixer streaming service, as well as Twitch.tv and YouTube.com, at 3 p.m. EST. The event is expected to focus primarily on the new console, which is targeting 4K gaming at 60 FPS.
Consumers will be able to purchase the new Xbox One X console for $499 from the usual retailers — Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop are the places to watch if you want to secure your console before it launches on November 7!
