Today was a great day for Kingdom Hearts fans everywhere, because Square Enix finally made Kingdom Hearts Unchained X available in North America.
Fans everywhere have been wondering when the game would come be released, ever since its the announcement at last year’s E3. After nearly a year of waiting, the announcement came from series creator, Tetsuya Nomura, along with this artwork:
“I hope fans and newcomers alike will find themselves absorbed in this brand new adventure that reveals the origins of KINGDOM HEARTS.”
Kingdom Hearts Unchained X, originally released in Japan for PC and MAC OS, serves as a prequel to the Kingdom Hearts series, where players join a guild and traverse various worlds to discover the origins of the Kingdom Hearts universe.
This is a sure way to hold fans over until the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, also announced to be released this year.
The game is now available in North America on iOS via the App store and Android through the Google Play store.
