Arduino is an open-source electronics platform primarily aimed at those looking to create objects and computers that can be interacted with in the real world as opposed to on a monitor. It’s complicated, to say the least.
The video above shows one user’s journey to using the Arduino hardware and software to create a real life liquid lifebar, which in this case is programmed to interact with Terraria. It’s amazing to see the hard work leading up to the final product, and just how the bar looks in action.
The creator’s YouTube channel has a few more videos on the project, if you’re so inclined to see more of the process behind making the liquid lifebar.
If you happen to be more of a tinkerer and less of a watcher, the Arduino website is packed with information and components to peruse. I think I’m happy enough with watching what can be done with the platform, myself.
