Redditor volpinazzurra recently posted a gallery of images to the /r/gaming subreddit containing what is arguably the coolest hoodie I’ve ever seen.
With the help of her husband (of volpin props) and his laser cutter, volpinazzurra personally stitched the garment over a period of four weeks. The hoodie really grabs me by the inner theatre costumer–it’s remarkably well-made. “I’m not particularly experienced in sewing, so if I want to sew a thing well, I really have to take my time,” she says.
Unfortunately, there won’t be any hand-sewn Journey hoodies in my future any time soon, but there’s a glimmer of hope for all of you who want to get your hands on one. “[The sewing] took me way too long to be profitable! I am considering digitizing the pattern to sell that, though, and possibly setting it up on Spoonflower [an online fabric printing resource].”
The project even received special attention from Kellee Santiago, co-founder and ex-president of thatgamecompany (unconfirmed, but I sure like to dream): “Just wanted to tell you how awesome this is, thank you so much for taking the time to make it, and to share it with us!!”
