It has been a week since David “Knuckles Dawson” Dreger was last seen by friends and family.
Before he went missing, the 28 year old deleted most of his social media accounts (including Facebook, Xbox Live, and Twitter) and changed his personal website to a simple video of a clip from Dumb and Dumber. He left his wallet, laptop, and phone in his Vancouver apartment, so no one has been able to reach him.
His bicycle and helmet were found in a local park on May 28, and despite a thorough search nothing has turned up so far.
Rumors swirled in a Reddit post in r/Vancouver. Some say he’s had some suicidal thoughts over the past few months, and has reached out to many for comfort.
His family remains hopeful he will be found and have set up a Facebook page for support and any potential information on his whereabouts. They will also be organizing sea searches this week.
Unfortunately, after a week, the outlook seems grim. We can only hope that he will be found, unharmed, very soon.
