I have been playing games for a long time and my first partner was none other than my sister, so I asked her some questions about her thoughts on gaming now and how it has evolved.
Hey Sis. So what was the first video game that you ever played?
“My first game as far as I can remember was Duck Hunt. That dog was the most annoying little thing EVER.”
So what was your favorite retro game?
“My favorite classics are Ice Climber and Super Mario Bros. They were the most fun on those old consoles.”
And what is your favorite game now and why?
“My favorite now has to be The Last Of Us because it’s a game that touched me in a way no other game did. The story, the characters, and the emotions seemed so real that I never felt like it was a game. It felt like it was all happening and Joel and Ellie were really going through all that. I cried at least three times while playing that game.”
So would you say that gaming industry has evolved a lot?
“Oh absolutely, games now have such great stories that are even better than most movies. Games back then were fun but they never made you connect with them, which the games now do.”
And lastly, what game are you looking forward to playing the most in the coming years?
“I am really excited about the new Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. But I’m also looking forward to Knack and the new Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus.“
Here are my sister’s views. What are your views on the questions above? Please comment below.
