Gamescom 2013 – Dragon Age: Inquisition New Trailer

New Dev Diary For Dragon Age: Inquisition
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Today at Gamescom we were expecting a big reveal for Dragon Age: Inquisition but we only got a Dev Diary titled A World Unveiled. The trailer shows off some amazing looking landscapes and character models, and gives us a little more info on the story of the Inquisitor.

The video reveals that as the Inquisitor you will have many rights and powers that other citizens do not get. You will also be in charge of your own organization, complete with underlings to boss around. The video also promises a lot more choice than the other games. I am a big fan of choices in games and having the choice to let your villages burn or save them sounds like a step in the right direction. I am not saying that I am going to let the village burn, but it is nice to have the option.

Overall this game looks amazing. I can’t wait to get my hands on this for the PC after all the neat things the modding community did with Dragon Age II. Dragon Age Inquisition does not have a solid release date yet but it is set to release on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and the PC sometime in the third quarter of 2014.
