Is This the Year of Luigi?

Itsa me, Luigi!

Well, not really. I wish. But seriously, could this be the Year of Luigi? Always playing second banana to his brother Mario, Luigi is getting some games of his own this year. Fans have started to like the green second stringer, or have been for a while, like me. But let’s take a peek at Luigi’s spotlight titles.

First up, Luigi’s Mansion just released not too long ago for the 3DS, and the response was rock solid. People loved replaying a new twist on an old classic. I know one friend of mine who is alternating between that and the new Monster Hunter title. I’m saving up for a 3DS myself, especially so I can play “Hey” Mansion all the live long day.

But there’s also New Luigi U, coming out this summer. As well as a new Mario Bros RPG, which should be pretty cool. I haven’t played one that has disappointed me yet. Will there be more for the famous green string-bean plumber? Only time will tell!
