After decades spent fighting in the Mist wars against ephemeral evil in all its varied forms, Isambard has returned to Tyria to recall what he has fought so long to preserve. His skin bleached by the energies of the Mists, his body protected by rough-hewn metal plate, this necromancer soldier has yet to feel truly at home in what was once his birthplace.
To get this look, seek out dyes in Midnight Ice, Stone, and Iron.
The gear seen on Isambard is the Wraith Mask, Svanir Shoulders, Sorceror’s Coat, Svanir Gloves, Vigil Leggings, Svanir Boots, and the Avenger’s Staff.
What makes the look so dear to my heart is that it was designed to be as martial as possible in light armor. Seeking every available means of making Isambard seem to be wearing plate and chain mail instead of cloth or even leather was completely the goal I had in mind, and I believe I wholly achieved it. By seeking dark tones, it makes the pallor of his skin and hair stand that much more out – they were chosen to allow the Wraith Mask’s lovely blue tracery of veins to be displayed, giving him a truly ethereal appearance.
