After a good first round of my internship in Bastion phase, I signed up for the Orzhov phase. I was very excited about it. I had enjoyed my time with GameSkinny and the friends I had met along the way. For Orzhov, I was chosen as a Team Leader. It has been tremendous fun and right up my alley (if I may admit). The team I was assigned turned out to be a great bunch of individuals that it has been my joy to work with.
My Role as Team Leader
Being a team leader can be a challenging and demanding role. When you are a writer, editor, or social media lead, you are responsible for yourself and your tasks, making sure you do what you’re supposed to. That’s easy-peasy. Team Leaders naturally have more on their plate. Not only do you keep track of your team’s progress during the week and report to GameSkinny, but performance is a must for the team leader. Your team’s performance is of utmost importance and pushing your team to do their best is the highest priority.
I enjoyed helping my team improve their skills through the past four weeks of the internship. No matter what has happened in life, my team strove to be the best they could and never failed to meet all deadlines and ensure our goals were met.
Joining Survivor Edition
I am signed up for the next edition of the internship. I am excited about the new people I will meet in this journey into gaming journalism. So you haven’t seen the last of me yet! If you are interested in joining the internship, check this page out for more information!
