Mass Defect: Nominee for Dragon Slayer Award for Notable Machinima or Video Series

A fitting contender for the Dragon Slayer Award
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

If a visit is paid to Youtuber ACAVYOS’ channel, there you will find Mass Defect. This series is a fan made parody of the critically acclaimed Mass Effect 3. Clips from the game’s cutscenes are arranged in a hilarious manner; with scenes varying from Commander Shepard playing a violent game of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with a merc to EDI having an intense troll session with the Normandy crew. Mass Defect has been snowballing in popularity since it’s first episode; the channel now holding over 3 million views, no small feat.

New installments of the series have been halted in light of the series creator working on a feature-length fan film starring everybody’s favorite Turian, Garuss Vakarian. The project entitled Archangel is in the beginning stages.

Mass Defect’s clever scenarios and clean production make it a fitting candidate for the Dragon Slayer Award for Notable Machinima or Video Series. If you’d like to place your vote, you can visit the polling page here.
