On Being a Girl at PAX East

As a girl at PAX East, I must say I am more than happy to be here. Gamers girls just don’t get the recognition they deserve in every day life.  

Here at PAX I feel like I belong. These are my people and there is no judging, only welcoming arms. 

This place is the secret to world peace: just fill the world with gamers.  Everyone here is so nice and courteous. You can bring in a large bag and you don’t have to get frisked.  Everyone is just excited to be here and that is enough. Someone bumps into you and you get an ‘excuse me’ or ‘sorry.’  People offer to help you out.  There is an overall sense of community.

They say Disney is the happiest place on Earth.  I say no, the happiest place is PAX.  It’s easy to see if you just look around at all the smiling faces and the sense of wonder that fills the air.  

So if you are looking for a nice easy good time I recommend you check out PAX East next year.  We all would love to see your face!
