La-Mulana is the little (big) indie game that could. Being the most difficult and rewarding titles I’ve played in recent years, I could go on and on about it. I could, but I won’t — because it’s time to slap your way into being the heroine of the game.
Rose & Camellia & LA-MULANA is spin-off of the Rose & Camellia flash games by NIGORO with La-Mulana‘s green-haired, dull-eyed Mulbruk at the forefront of this slap battle.
As Mulbruk, it’s your job to slap some sense into the other women found in the world of La-Mulana to secure your place as the game’s heroine. Even if you really were just added in the remake.
Slapping requires that you click on “Attack” when the time is right and swipe your mouse over your opponent’s weak point. You must also evade, which is a bit trickier but amply described below the game on the official NIGORO site.
Good luck, because you’re going to need it. As with the other games in this genre and true to the La-Mulana legacy, Rose & Camellia & LA-MULANA is pretty difficult (unless you put it on easy). Is it worth the effort? Of course it is, you’re Mulbruk! What more do you need?
