Steve Tilley is a gamer through and through (described as having “worked at soul-crushing jobs in grade school just to afford the machines to play them”). And he doesn’t just love games: since 2006 he’s had the enviable job of covering tech, gadgets and games for Canada’s largest newspaper chain, Sun Media.
Steve held a live chat to share some of his insights about the industry, as well as some well-educated guesses on where things will go from here. We couldn’t resist jumping in to ask some of the burning questions we have about where the industry is heading.
On digital distribution (and free to play)
On naming the next Playstation
On Cross Platform Gameplay
On the Lackluster Buzz Around Wii U
You can check out the entire conversation here.
Given Steve’s passion for and knowledge of the industry, we’re guessing his predictions won’t be far off the mark.
