King of The Monsters Throwback Thursday
This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information

King of The Monsters was a game I became very familiar with when playing the Super Nintendo. The first game in the series was launched in 1991 the second being released a year after. SKN is the studio that was behind this series.

King of The Monsters offered players the opportunity to control one of six playable monsters. These monsters varied from a Godzilla like dinosaur to a large beetle creature. King of The Monsters 2 allowed players to choose from eleven characters.

The player would control the monster of their choice from a third person view. Players would fight through cities. The game would also take players to underwater cities to fight through.

All in all King of The Monsters was a great game and could be played through multiple times with friends. This series was amazing and different fighting styles for different monsters made this a must play for any young gamer at the time of it’s launch.
