Made by Turtle Beach, the Ear Force DPX21 comes included with a DSS processor which to create a completely new sound and provide a mouth watering piece of audio wonder. Let me tell you why the Ear Force DPX21 is the best gaming headset ever.
Physical Build

The added processor is very lightweight and hits the mark in terms of build quality with analogue and digital inputs. It even features great bass boost, separate volume controls and Dolby surround sound functions.
Easy Set Up and Use
The optical lead is plugged into the back of the consoles AV lead with leads to the processor, which is powered individually using an USB port. The headset is plugged into the processing unit via the in line amp, and your all set up and ready to play! With the set up being so simple, the headset is comprised of two units, one being the processor itself and the other being the inline amplifier that is supplied with the headset.
The processor is set up by adjusting the volume and bass plus switching the surround sound on (if you’re using your PS3 or 360, don’t forget to set your audio setting to 5.1/7.1. You can then control your secondary settings to hear via the inline amplifier.
Sound and Mic Quality
Fine tuning your game, chat volume, adjusting bass levels, as well as muting the mic is all just from an arm’s length away. The PX21 delivers a wide range of quality sound from a thumping bass to high-end treble and picking up the slightest in-game noise to give you the advantage on your online foe or enemy A.I. Even by turning the volume up to its maximum level, there isn’t any serious noise distortion at all.
Overall
The Turtle Beach Earforce DPX21 rattles your world with a wired 5.1/7.1 Dolby surround sound at a reasonable price. Being able to cross over to not just the PS3 and the Xbox 360, you can use it for your PC and MAC too.
