Watch Conan O’Brien (Attempt to) Play Video Games

Conan reviews video games despite hating video games
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Have you ever tried to get someone who is new to video games to play a game with you? Do you remember how painful that experience was when they played Halo and ended up crouched in a corner throwing grenades into the sky? That’s kind of what watching Conan O’Brien is like when he plays video games.

If you’ve never watched Conan before, he has a segment called “Clueless Gamer” where he plays a popular video game and reviews it (kinda). Check out the link here to watch him play (or at least attempt to play) GTA V. SPOILER ALERT: He gets sidetracked receiving lap dances. Although to be fair, that happens in real life too right?

The link above also has links (link-ception) to other games Conan has reviewed. If you have a couple of minutes to kill, my favorites are Tomb Raider and Halo 4. He comes across himself and Andy Richter (voicing characters in cameos) in Halo 4. Hilarity ensues.

What’s the worst experience you’ve ever had watching another person play a video game? Let me know in the comments down below. I had my Grandma play WWF: Smackdown Shut Your Mouth back in the day. That was fun.
