DSA: Profile of Community Manager Nik “Daxxarri” Gianozakos

With Blizzard still leading the market on massively multiplayer games, it’s no surprise that one of the nominees for Best Community Manager is Nik Gianozakos (aka Daxxarri). Nik is a Community Manager with Blizzard. 

Nik is primarily known for being a part of the Community Manager team for the ever-popular World of Warcraft.

Daxxarri is a well known voice on the Battle.net World of Warcraft forum. If you heard about the fix for the Cataclysm expansion, chances are you heard about it from Nik. The message Nik gave forum viewers, and then later, reporters about the fix for Catacylsm‘s expansion linearity was professional and easy to understand. 

That was an error we made with the design of Catacylsm, but getting players invested in the world again is something we’re interested in addressing with Mists.

It’s easy to see why World of Warcraft players like Daxxarri so much, and why they would want him to win for Best Community Manager.  Click here to vote!
