PlayStation just announced that XCOM 2 will be coming to PS4 on September 6th 2016. Since XCOM 2 came out on PC a year ago, fans have been asking about the game coming to consoles.
Proud of their PC version of the game, the developers of XCOM 2 wanted to create a game that fans deserved. For the console game they improved core systems, and implemented new changes for multiple platforms.
The developers also utilized The Workshop feedback that they received from the PC game. The Workshop is a program in steam that allows mods to be created and played. The Workshop helped the developers find bugs and other issues to fix.

In XCOM 2, you play as the commander who controls a customized squad of soldiers into battle against an alien takeover. The game sets you up with the odds against you, and you must see if overcome the challenge.
The developers, Firaxis Games, have put a lot of hard work into XCOM 2. They listened to player feedback and created a game that fans wanted on console.
