Minecraft Legends Golem Types Explained

Plank Golems

  • Resource costs: x1 wood, x1 lapis, x Flame of Creation
  • Strength: Ranged attacks vs. Piglins

The Plank Golems are one of the first available in Minecraft Legends. Their biggest strength is their ranged abilities that focus on damage over defense. While you can use them to help destroy structures, they aren’t the best choice for this, as they do less damage to buildings than Piglin enemies.

  • Resource costs: x1 stone, x1 lapis, x Flame of Creation
  • Strength: Melee attacks vs. structures

Cobblestone Golems are the second type of Golem you’re able to spawn early in the game. These little creatures are melee attackers whose strength lies in destroying structures. They can fight against Piglins as well, but they don’t do as much damage as Plank Golems.

  • Resource costs: x1 iron, x1 lapis, x Flame of Creation
  • Strength: Healing allies and other Golems

Mossy Golems are your healer units. They spin around and spray water that heals nearby units. While they aren’t very useful when it comes to dealing damage, it can be a good idea to have a couple of them as part of your army to keep your other units alive.

Grindstone Golems

  • Resource costs: x1 iron, x1 lapis, x Flame of Creation
  • Strength: Melee attacks vs. Piglins

Grindstone Golems are support units and the largest of the Golem types. They can act as protectors because their melee attack knocks enemies back, giving you a bit of breathing room when you’re overwhelmed by numbers.

And that’s how to use each Golem type in Minecraft Legends, as well as what they’re best suited for and their resource costs. For more, check out our other MC Legends guides, where we also provide potential fixes for the connecting to your account error
