Yesterday, Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin announced that he would be leaving the Immortals League of Legends roster.
The Korean jungler had joined Immortals for Season 6 after making it to the Season 5 Worlds semi-finals with former team Fnatic.
This announcement came just one day after Immortals teammate Adrian “Adrian” Ma announced that he had signed with Phoenix1 for the 2017 season.
After their 3rd place finish in the Season 6 Summer Split Playoffs , Immortals failed to secure their spot to represent the NA LCS at the World Championships due to a lack of championship points.
During the off season, Immortals CEO Noah Whinston announced that he would allow his LoL roster to seek other opportunities after their disappointing results. So far, Reignover and Adrian are only the players that have committed to playing for different organizations.
According to an ESPN source, Reignover has signed a contract with Team Liquid, who have coincidentally just released former jungler Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett.
Nothing official has since been confirmed.
