Vourukasha’s Glow is one of the new artifact sets added to Genshin Impact with the 3.6 update. It grants a boost to a character’s hit points (HP) and potential damage. Here’s our guide on the best characters for Vourukasha’s Glow in Genshin Impact.
How to Get Vourukasha’s Glow in Genshin Impact
The Genshin Impact Vourukasha’s Glow artifact set is found in the Molten Iron Fortress domain. This is located in the northwestern portion of Sumeru Desert in the Gavireh Lajavard zone.
The domain effect causes Dendro reactions you trigger to grant +150 elemental mastery for eight seconds. As for enemies, you’ll battle two Mitachurls, followed by two Hilichurl Rogues (Hydro and Anemo).
These are the Vourukasha’s Glow artifact set bonuses:
- 2-piece bonus: +20% HP.
- 4-piece bonus: +10% elemental skill and elemental burst damage. After the wearer takes damage, the bonus is increased by 8% for five seconds (stacks up to five times). The duration of each stack is counted independently and can be triggered even if the character isn’t on the field.
Vourukasha’s Glow Best Characters
Best Characters: Dehya and Nilou
The two best characters for Vourukasha’s Glow in Genshin Impact are Dehya and Nilou. This is because of the 2-piece and 4-piece bonuses. The former is self-explanatory, as both characters have perks and abilities that scale off HP. The latter, meanwhile, has a fully-stacked bonus granting +50% elemental skill and elemental burst damage.
The set itself seems like it’s tailor-made for Dehya, given how she soaks the damage the active character takes when she’s not on the field. The problem is that she’s Dehya, one of the most disappointing 5-star characters in the game. She fulfills a niche within a niche, dominated by shielders and healers. The boost certainly helps, but you’re unlikely to use her once you have better party members.
Nilou, however, might be the best character that can use Vourukasha’s Glow in Genshin Impact. Considering Nilou’s Bloom team comp setup and one of her passive talents, you’re better off using the 2-piece bonuses from Vourukasha’s Glow and Tenacity of the Millelith, granting her a massive +40% HP right from the start. This is more of a straightforward HP-stacking build to boost Bloom damage further, without bothering with the 4-piece effects.
Viable options: Pure Support Kokomi and Barbara
Speaking of HP-stacking via Vourukasha’s Glow and Tenacity of the Millelith, you could probably try this for Kokomi and Barbara, two healers with abilities that scale off their max HP. To be fair, though, another artifact set (Ocean-Hued Clam) tends to be better overall.
Yelan is also a good bet. However, this is only for the HP% boost from the 2-piece bonus, which can also be obtained from the Tenacity set anyway. This is subsequently combined with a Hydro damage set like Heart of Depth.
Should You Farm for Vourukasha’s Glow?
If you have Nilou, you should farm for Vourukasha’s Glow and Tenacity of the Millelith, preferably with a ton of HP% as a sub-stat. Since you’re only looking at getting two decent pieces for each set, you shouldn’t worry too much about the other stat rolls.
Other than this specific example, there’s no point in spending a lot of time farming the Genshin Impact Vourukasha’s Glow artifact set. Dehya gains a benefit, sure, but she’s still underwhelming. The 4-piece bonus also won’t be usable for shielders since the wearer has to take damage to proc its effect reliably. In the end, it might be better to wait and see if a version 4.0 character from Fontaine has the right kit to make the most out of this set.
In any case, the Vourukasha’s Glow is just one of two artifact sets from the Molten Iron Fortress domain. You can also take a look at our best characters for the Nymph’s Dream artifact guide, and check out our other Genshin Impact guides.
