Merry Crossmas, everyone! Animal Crossing: New Horizons has launched on the Nintendo Switch, and with everyone (hopefully) staying safe indoors with their Switches, it’s time to live the island life.
We have a wide array of handy tips and guides already, but you’re here because you want to know how to sleep in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
It’s really easy to enter snoozeville. Here’s how to do it.
How to Sleep in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
While you’re still in the introductory tutorial section of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Tom Nook will let you know that you can go and have a nap if the festivities of settling and naming your new island have tuckered you out.
To sleep, you’ll need to head back to your tent.
Once there, you can enter the tent and unfurl the camping cot that Tom Nook gave you by opening the inventory and placing it anywhere inside your tent.
Then just simply walk up to it and you’ll hop in, prompting you to sleep for the day. If you select this, the game will progress to the “next day”, though you’ll wake up with your island synced to your Switch’s local time.
It really is that simple!
