Knowing how to respec your character and stats in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is important. You can put points into five categories, which determines weapon scaling and which spells you are able to use. Therefore changing your build on the fly to take on a certain tricky boss might be something you want to do. Luckily, Team Ninja has anticipated those needs.
While its closest relative is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Team Ninja’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is much more of an RPG than From Software’s stripped-down action offering. Just like in Elden Ring and the Souls games, this means that you’ll likely find yourself wanting to re-allocate your points when spec-ing out a character build. Here’s how.
How to Respec in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
To unlock the option to “reset parameters” in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, you’ll need to reach the same point in the game that unlocks changing your appearance, when you meet a character named Zuo Ci.
You’ll have unlocked the Hidden Village hub at this point, and after you complete this mission, Zuo Ci will follow you back to this hub. From there, you can visit the character sitting in the hut behind where you spawn in the Hidden Village. He will allow you to respec.
By talking to Zuo Ci, you’ll be able to select a number of new gameplay options from his menu. The top option is called “reset parameters” and it gives you the ability to move your points around freely.
Having the ability to respec stats in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is as easy as that. Once you have the access to the NPC, you can reset your character whenever you want for no cost.
