The Hearthstone beta currently has nine of the classes from the Warcraft universe, one of which being the powerful Mage. Players take on the role of Jaina Proudmoore when donning their wizard robe and hat.
The Mage class is packed with a wealth of control spells to give them time to make a power play for control over the field. Though they may not have many class-exclusive minions, those present are packed with utility — and there are plenty of neutral minions that synergize well with the Mage’s spells.
The Priest and Mage both have some of the strongest Basic-rarity cards in Hearthstone, and as such you should not underestimate even opponents using fully Basic decks.
The card list below includes the Mage’s minions and spell cards in the current build of Hearthstone (1.0.0.3939). Those that are not collectible are noted as such.
Keep in mind cards noted as being ‘Basic’ are those the player receives by default as they level their hero.
