EA has revealed some details for the upcoming Bespin DLC expansion for Star Wars Battlefront and has also given a release date. In a post over at the Star Wars EA website, the expansion was confirmed for a June 21st release date for season pass owners. If this follows the same model as the Outer Rim expansion then that means Bespin will be released on July 5th for all players. The timing of this update seems to indicate that EA will not be revealing anything about the expansion or Battlefront in general at the upcoming EA Play event on June 12th.
Also included in the post was information about new villain Dengar. The bounty hunter will be using the DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle as his main weapon of choice. Not much else was given regarding Dengar or new hero Lando Calrissian. What was revealed was the sight of two new maps and two new blasters. One blaster, the EE-4, is short range while the other, the X-8 Night Sniper, is obviously long range. More weapons, star cards, traits and maps will be revealed in the coming weeks according to the post.
Star Wars Battlefront is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The Bespin DLC will be released to season pass owners on June 21st. May the force be with you!
