UK game studio Wales Interactive has announced that its upcoming title, Don’t Knock Twice, is set to release in the first quarter of 2017 for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive. There will also be a release of a non-VR version for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
The title is currently being developed alongside the horror movie called Don’t Knock Twice, starring Katee Sackhoff, and directed by Caradog James.
To coincide with this announcement, Wales Interactive has released a demo for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on Steam. Owners of the PlayStation VR will have to wait a bit since the demo will be released later this year.
According to the developers, Don’t Knock Twice is a first person VR horror game about a terrifying urban legend. In order to save her daughter, a guilt-ridden mother must uncover the truth behind the urban tale of a demonic witch. Players will explore a manor, search for clues, and interact with all its objects and use them to defend themselves against possible dangers.
