If you’ve been dropping into Call of Duty: Warzone fairly frequently, you more than likely already noticed various locked doors spread around Verdansk, locked doors that have enticed players to unravel their contents. But that’s all changed now.

Players started noticing in April that legendary crates were beginning to drop red access cards, which led players to believe the cards were vital to unlocking the various bunkers across the map. However, they proved useless at the time.

Now, it looks like those suspicions were ultimately correct. Players are now able to unlock doors by retrieving one of the red access cards. Simply gather the card and use it at the vault entrance to nab the loot hiding inside.

Call of Duty: Warzone is certainly privy to all sorts of unusual moments, with many players claiming to have heard wolves and ringing phones while taking the fight to the enemy, but this development is the first step to something bigger. Perhaps more secrets will be unlocked in the future.

The update for Call of Duty: Warzone is out today and weighs in at 20.2GB on the PlayStation 4, against a large 26.1GB on PC, and a mighty 31GB on the Xbox One.
