Console editions of Minecraft are well-known for having some of the wildest world generation. Some may say they’re glitched, but others will say that they’re opportunities. So here, I’ll explore the top 10 best Minecraft seeds exclusively for PS4 that will surprise even the most hardcore survivalists.

• Spawn: X: 0 Z: 0
• Biomes: Forest, Cherry Grove

The spawn area here features several patches of cherry blossom trees, but only one of them has a village at coordinates X: -344 Z: 88. It’s nicely suited on the river bed, with a few huts stringing up the hill amidst the cherry trees. Another village that I found is a bit further away at coordinates X: 344 Z: 312.

Never underestimate the wild generation of Minecraft’s console edition. The acacia village at spawn features a pillager outpost with a shipwreck stuck inside. There’s also an exposed ruined portal, which will take you to the hoglin stables at nether coordinates X: 144 Z: 80. If you go up north into the jungle, then you’ll find two jungle temples at coordinates X: 24 Z: -248 and X: -392 Z: -136.

As I spawned on a large survival island, I noticed that it accommodated an entire woodland mansion and a village with a blacksmith. What a lucky strike! Another cool thing about this island is that it’s almost entirely covered with trees, so you’ll have plenty of wood to work with. The closest ocean monument that I could find here is located at coordinates X: -280 Z: -344.

There was nothing particularly interesting at spawn until I spotted the strangest amalgamation of structures in the ocean at coordinates X: 168 Z: 312. There’s a woodland mansion, a desert village, a pillager outpost, and an exposed ruined portal. But right under all of it, there’s also an ocean monument!

If you enjoy surviving in the wilderness of the snowy mountains, then this seed will suit you well. There’s a village and a woodland mansion at spawn, which is basically at the top of a large, jagged mountain. Also, be sure to explore an ancient city under the mountain at coordinates X: 136 Y: -51 Z: 104.

• Biomes: Forest

Sometimes you may encounter sinkholes in the water biomes of Minecraft. But the one I located in this seed, at coordinates X: 250 Z: 370, appears right in the center of the lake village. You can build a large staircase that goes down the hole and easily mine for a ton of resources. But if you’re looking for a more ordinary village, then head over to coordinates X: -392 Z: 680.

While sinkholes don’t appear on the dry surface of this seed, you can find these giant ravines. One such ravine with an acacia village at coordinates X: 152 Z: 152 is so wide that several huts have spawned inside of it. This may create some inconvenience, but it looks so cool that you wouldn’t want it any other way.

If you don’t fancy living at the bottom of the pit, then I suggest you check out this seed for PS4, which generates a village on the floating island at coordinates X: 56 Z: 184. But the underground world here is just as exciting when I discovered trail ruins at coordinates X: 125 Y: 67 Z: 285.

• Biomes: Plains

Here’s another wild seed with a lake village that spawns under the tallest pillager outpost I’ve ever seen at coordinates X: -952 Z: -952. Since a part of the lake’s surface is attached to the outpost, it generates a weird waterfall, while some of the huts appear to be standing on small individual platforms.

If you like waterfalls, then how about a village that has both a waterfall and a lavafall? You can easily find such a village at coordinates X: -248 Z: 792. I also found another one a bit further to the south at coordinates X: -216 Z: 1,128, but it’s not as fun as this one.
