With technology becoming cheaper and cheaper as the big names come out with the latest and greatest, many of us can get caught up in the storm that is the bigger household names like Razer, Corsair, Logitech and HyperX. We sometimes overlook some of the non-household names, that might bring us some great hardware for a similar if not cheaper price.
Thermaltake
A company that manufactures air and water cooling systems for PCs, though they also produce power supplies and various cases. If you’re looking for an alternative to Corsair’s power supplies or cases, they would be a nice alternative.
NZXT
A personal favorite when it comes to clean case design. They develop very clean looking, and very nicely crafted computer cases that aren’t too expensive depending on your budget.
Western Digital or Seagate
If you’re looking for a hard drive and don’t want something from Toshiba, Dell or Samsung then you should probably buy from Western Digital or Seagate. WD and Seagate are companies known more to PC enthusiasts but if you’re just getting into the market or you’re just looking to expand your storage, you can’t go wrong with a WD or a Seagate. Both offer decently sized hard drives for a decent price and if you are looking for something else, both have Solid State Drives with Seagate having Hybrid Drives.
If you’re a gamer, particularly a PC gamer then you know that peripherals do make a difference when it comes to your set up. Your keyboard and mouse are the tools that you use to do anything so of course you’re going to buy the best of the best, but sometimes you overlook the lesser known names for ones like Corsair or Logitech, so here are some that you should take a look at.
Feenix
Feenix makes gaming peripherals from mice to headphones to keyboards. They may not have much when it comes to a collection but what they make is clean, beautiful and excellent.
Das Keyboard and Ducky Channel
They are a little pricier than other brands with some of their models, but when it comes to mechanical keyboards these two brands are some of the most praised. Their keyboards aren’t as wacky and crazily designed as some of Logitech’s or Corsair’s, but they are cleanly designed and their fans praise their work.
