Overwatch is one of the biggest games out right now -- and for good reason. The game is fast-paced, has great graphics, the community is friendly, and it features a variety of different characters.
With 21 different characters and more likely to be added in at some point in the future, there are a lot of different choices for every kind of playstyle. But I have three characters that I tend to main. These are the characters that I play as the most and that I am the best with.
3. Tracer
Tracer is one of the most overused characters honestly, but when you play her right she can be a great character. She is fast and can deal a lot of damage at close range. The best thing she has going for her is her blink ability. Use it often as possible as a way to confuse your enemies, pop up in new locations and get as close to your target as you can. Blink in close, go for the kill and recall out of there. The great part about recall is not only does it get you out of the fight quickly, but you will regain any health you lost.
2. Widowmaker
Widowmaker is a really easy character to play if you enjoy sniping in other games. Her gun can kill most players in one shot when fully charged, and her assault rifle is powerful as well. One of the best skills that she has is her grappling hook. It gives you the ability to get to nice high places for Snipe and offers a quick getaway when in a pinch. She is best as a defense player because she has the potential to take the whole team out before they even make it to the objective.
It is also best to move often. Don't just stay in one spot, always have a few different sniper positions on each map.
1. Reaper
Not only is this the character that I am best with, he is probably one of the coolest characters in the game. I mean, just look at him -- he looks like a total badass.
Reaper is a very strong character, he has a decent amount of health, has great skills and his guns can kill almost everyone in one shot at close range. His Death Blossom skill, if done correctly, can also take out an entire team at an objective. It is best to use his Shadow Step skill to teleport behind the enemy team, get in close and blow them away, then use your Wraith Form to retreat back to safety. Using that strategy can really cause a lot of damage to the other team -- it's also great for clearing objectives.
There you have it, my top three characters of Overwatch. Who are your mains? Let me know in the comments.
