2016 has gotten off to a solid start and March is the next step in making it a truly wonderful year for the community. Whether you have been enjoying a nice vista in Firewatch or killing zombies as a corncob in Plants VS Zombies 2: Garden Warfare, the year has started off right. Judging from the upcoming release schedule, it will only get better.
There are some really hot titles coming out in the next few months but which ones most deserve your time? Take a look at some of the upcoming games that are sure to generate a buzz.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Release Date: May 10th, 2016

Nathan Drake has been a lovable character ever since Uncharted made its way into our gaming hearts. This installment of Uncharted has been getting hit with constant delays but it seems as if Naughty Dog has finally settled on a May 10th release. The conclusion of the Uncharted franchise is sure to be a hit amongst PS4 users and fans of the franchise alike.
Judging from the story trailer, this final chapter in the saga is sure to please everybody. Nathan Drake has become one of the most iconic video game characters of all time so the end to his story will not be soon forgotten.
Tom Clancy’s The Division
Release Date: March 8th, 2016
Releasing for: PS4, Xbox One, and PC
New York will be hit with an epidemic on March 8th, and gamers are ecstatic about it. The Division is sure to turn some heads in the community and the beta was certainly a success. Big things are in store for this MMO and it will be the most recent release of any game in this post.
The Division has been receiving Destiny comparisons, but we’ll take a wait and see approach. Here's hoping there is some type of Until Dawn-like surprise and it turns out there are zombies or some type of infected in the game.
Doom
Release Date: May 13th, 2016

Doom will make its return in May and this one has been a long time coming. Doom has set the tone for so many different types of games that hitting the refresh button on the franchise is a welcome sight. This one is sure to capture the attention of any first person shooter fan and certainly should be considered a must-own.
It has been over a decade since Doom 3, so fans have been clamoring for quite a while. Now that the release date has been set, the clock has officially begun to tick. Buckle up, ladies and gentlemen, on May 13th we go to hell.
Dark Souls III
Release Date: April 12th, 2016
Releasing for: PS4, Xbox One, and PC
The latest entry into the Dark Souls series will conclude the story. FromSoftware is coming off of one of the most impressive exclusives of all time in Bloodborne and it is now time for them to flex their muscle in Dark Souls III. The game looks phenomenal and the April 12th release date is right around the corner.
It has been difficult to watch gameplay trailers and not be reminded of Bloodborne. It seems as if Dark Souls III took more cues from Bloodborne than we expected. No matter, this game should certainly please new and old fans of the franchise and is sure to be an epic conclusion.
No Man’s Sky
Release date: June 21st, 2016
Releasing for: PS4 and PC
Ready or not, here comes No Man’s Sky and its 18-trilion planets. This game is absurdly large with only its hype being larger. Gamers are excited for the game to hit retailers on June 21st.
No Man’s Sky is sure to be talked about upon release. It honestly feels as if we have been hearing about this game and The Division forever. The fact that they will finally release probably comes as a surprise to some gamers. Hopefully, the surprise that awaits us on June 21st is a good one.

These games will be out soon but they are not all that is coming. What games do you want to play that are coming out soon? Which one of these are you most excited about? Personally, Doom has my eye and, since Halo 5 was a dud for me, I am hoping it becomes my go-to first person shooter.
It is hard not be excited with the upcoming slate of releases. 2016 is shaping up to be another strong year in the world of video games.
