The nine year wait for infants to be added to The Sims 4 has finally come to an end, as today marks the release of the much anticipated infant update, bringing with it a load of content for this new stage of Sims’ lives. The update isn’t just out today, it’s out right now.
Infants will be little fleshed out Sims just as they were in The Sims 3 and earlier entries, the little bundles having their own traits as well as a host of customization options in the CAS for the babies you might choose to create yourself. Older sims can also have birth and stretch marks, among other birth and parenting-related customization options.
You can read a comprehensive overview of what’s to come in the update in our infant update highlight article, but there are sure to be surprises in the patch as well.
This is going to be a big week if you’re into The Sims 4. In just two days, the Growing Together expansion will be landing to top off the content added in today’s update. Growing Together will add a host of new features and CAS options for Sims of all life stages, including infants. The new socialization features are especially intriguing if you’re a long-time fan of The Sims.
One thing’s for certain: Things are about to get a lot more hectic for any parent Sim with today’s infant update, and Sims are going to experience new range of socially-driven emotions with The Sims 4: Growing Together on March 16. Keep an eye on GameSkinny for more The Sims 4 guides and news.
